About WellDecoded
Millions of households drink from private wells that no utility tests. When the lab report arrives, it's full of units, abbreviations and quality control lines that make it hard to answer the one question that matters: what do I need to do? WellDecoded turns that report into plain English, with clear next steps, and points anything serious back to the lab and the health department.

How we work
- Checked against official sourcesEPA limits for the US; Ontario's drinking water standards and Health Canada guidelines for Ontario. We record when each limit was last checked.
- Honest about limitsWe never call water "safe". A report only covers what was tested, and anything serious goes back to your lab and health department.
- Private by designReports are read in your browser and not uploaded unless you choose to send us one. See our privacy page.
- IndependentWe don't sell filters or treatment, and we don't take referral fees from contractors.
